The COI Garden is getting closer to planting at the Living Stones' office, Tallahassee, FL. A call out to get children and families ready for planting will be made this week. Can you see how rich the soil is and what the garden will look like once the seeds and plantings sprout and grow. Keep focus on the ground and see what you may guess is growing. It's going to be a masterpiece. Remember if we have an abundance, we will sell some so the Children of Inmates' Program is viable and assisting children to reconnect with their incarcerated parents.

Children of Importance are learning how to develop, grow and build a garden.
This journey has been coming together since September 2013. The land was initially cleared, but as a gardener knows, if you don't plant, weeds and grass will come. The pictures above show our beginning stages. Come join Living Stones as we unfold the making of a garden story in the back of our office in Tallahassee, Florida. Working with children and families whose parents are incarcerated at Wakulla and Liberty CI, as well as Gadsden Women's facility, let's see how green our thumbs are. Follow the garden story. When we produce more than Living Stones' children and families may use--we'll have a stand out front to buy and pick up fresh produce. Keep watching for the reveal of "How Our Garden Grows!" |
